Dry the Outside
Wipe your phone thoroughly with a dry cloth or paper towel. Do not plug in a charger or lightning/USB-C cable while moisture remains.
Crank Volume to 100%
Make sure your phone is not on silent or vibrate mode. Turn media volume all the way to maximum to give the sound wave enough pushing power.
Face the Speaker Down
Hold your phone or lean it upright so the speaker grille faces down toward a paper towel. Let gravity assist the water droplets as they exit.
Press Start Cleaning
